Bridge to Renewables (BTR)
Carbon credits, generated on behalf of electric vehicle owners and in collaboration with major electric vehicle automakers, that represent the avoided emissions associated with the transition from a baseline internal combustion engine vehicle using gasoline to an electric vehicle using electricity.
The value of the carbon credits will be used to offer incentives back to the electric vehicle owner to encourage the owner to charge when more renewable or low carbon electricity is being delivered to the local electric grid.
Partnership with major electric vehicle automakers
The value of the credits generated under this project will be used in part to offer incentives to consumers to charge their electric vehicles at times when more renewable or low carbon electricity is being delivered to the local grid. Purchasers of this first-of-its-kind consumer-based credit have the potential to jointly market to consumers with the electric vehicle automaker.
